The Rocket Espresso Commercial Group Tune-Up Kit is a staple of preventative maintenance practice. Be prepared! A couple of these kits under the sink might save the day!
This kit is easy to install yourself and will fix issues you might be having due to worn screens and gaskets. If you can replace pieces like your gasket and group screen every six months to a year, your machine should maintain a great working condition able to reproduce great flavors in every shot. Your machine might need a tune-up if it begins to leak around the edges of your portafilter while brewing; or, if the water flow and dispersion seems restricted you might need this kit to replace the group shower screen. We recommend keeping a few kits on hand, and catching these problems before have a chance to affect other parts of your machine by performing a tune-up at least twice a year.
Wondering about which gasket size to get? Your Rocket espresso machine should have come with an 8mm gasket, in contrast to the 8.5mm gasket that comes with this tune-up kit (0.5mm thickness increase). We recommend slowly moving up in gasket size over time to maintain an ergonomic portafilter handle position.
